OKC and the OKC Memorial

My husband and I just celebrated our 1-year wedding anniversary on October 31st. That's right, we got married on Halloween. It's our favorite holiday. We spent our anniversary with some friends of ours in Oklahoma City. And, of course, I got tons of pictures!

I love old cars, so I had to get a picture of this. Plus, this guy's billboard was all over the place.

Jessica striking a pose for me. LOL!

These buffalo sculptures were all over the place. Don't worry. You'll be seeing some more.

This picture collage above is of the Memorial. The first one is of the Reflection Pool. The second one is of the many chairs that represent the lives that were lost that day. The big chairs represented the adults and the small chairs represented the children. The chain link fence had tokens/memories from family members or personal friends from the victims.

I was too young to remember this tragic event when it happened. But, I recommend that everyone go and see the memorial to remember the victims on that day.

There will be more pictures coming of the OKC Zoo and Bricktown, my favorite place in OKC.

Don't forget that you can click on the pictures to view them larger!

About This Blog

This blog is used to showcase my journey as a photographer. Photography is somewhat new to me in the sense that it is a field that is always evolving. I love learning all the new tricks to photography. But, I also love seeing something new through the lens of a camera.

My main photographical interest is people. I especially enjoy the lifestyle look. To me it's a more natural look and it captures who that person(s) truly is.
